Austin McCreary
PGA Associate, former college golfer at Dean and Assumption, coached the Dean College team after he played there. Runs the lesson tee at GolfX most days. Drives the ball about 320 yards, if you were wondering.
Four certified teaching pros — three PGA, one USGTF — on a bay equipped with high-speed cameras and AI swing analysis. Tech-supported instruction for any skill level.
On a range, your pro reads your ball flight by eye — that's the craft. On a simulator they get the numbers behind it too: club head speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin, attack angle, face angle, club path. The pro and the student see the same thing.
Every shot measured — speed, smash, launch, spin, path. Your pro has data behind what they're seeing. So do you.
Watch the same shot ten times. The pro points at the frame where it went wrong. You see it too.
Lessons happen in November. In February. In a heat wave. Your swing doesn't get rained out.
Our four certified pros have taught complete beginners, juniors, and players chasing two strokes. The simulator data points at what's happening; the teachers tell you why.
Each one sets their own rate and has their own approach. Tell us what you want to work on — drive distance, short game, course management, whatever's been bugging you — and we'll get you on the right tee with the right person.

A typical lesson runs 45 minutes to an hour. You warm up for a few swings while your pro pulls up the data. From there, expect a mix of swings, video review, specific drills, and feedback on what to change and why — all backed by the numbers from the launch monitor.
Bring your own clubs if you have them. If not, our loaners are free. First time on a simulator? Tell whoever's at the desk; we'll get you set up before the clock starts.
Lessons happen on a bay equipped with high-speed cameras and AI swing analysis. The pro sees what your swing is doing frame-by-frame; so do you. Combine that with four experienced teachers — three PGA, one USGTF — and we can help anyone, from someone holding a club for the first time to a player chasing their last two strokes.
Members get 20% off bay time for practice between lessons, plus 24/7 access to the Members Bay with high-speed cameras and AI swing analysis. The math gets simple fast if you're working on something serious.
